Fall is here and the nights are getting cold. I made a fire tonight out in the back yard by the woods with my Girlfriend and friends. I put on The Campfire Headphase. I was going to put on Geogaddi but went and grabbed The Campfire Headphase instead. It was really nice watching the fire burn while listening to Ataronchronon. It was a good time.

Me two! This album is so good on chilly autumn nights, and keeps getting better and better. Such a slow burn...

Yeah I know what you mean. When I first heard the album, I liked it but I didn't love it. I found my self going back to the old tunes tapes and MHTRTC and some Geogaddi. Lately I have been listening to it a lot. Last night by the fire smelling the smoke, listening to the crackling noises from the fire pit, being with my girlfriend, friends and listening to this album, it was really nice. Like, hey this is kind of a folkish album for these kind of times. IMO.

i built a fire pit in my backyard this spring specifically for listening to boards of canada.
tch is a really good cd for cool fall nights, especially by the time farewell fire comes on...
i can't wait.

God damn you people are making me jealous! I don't have a back yard, or any friends open minded enough to listen to Boards Of Canada, let alone around a god damned fire!
Since I first heard TCH, I always thought it was the perfect late summer/ fall album! Of course, the first time I heard it was late summer/ fall of 2005 so...

It is fun to be with other people. My friend Josh does not care for BoC at all. But he came over to hang out and drink some beers with everyone, he didn't even realize it was on the whole time cause he was having fun and he probably didnt even know it was them. But I can tell he was digging it a little. He is kind of closed-minded. However my Girlfriend loves BoC like I do, so it was good.
