The 1st 2 times I caught Ride in 1990 they were co-headlining with Lush. They would rotate the open and closing slots. Next time seeing Ride in '92 they had just stopped touring with Slowdive and picked up the Pale Saints by the time I saw them. Fuck MBV, they gave me serious ear damage in 2009, my left ear won't ever stop ringing and I was wearing earplugs! Kevin Shields has said after the fact that tour was way way OTT. Fuck MBV...!
