Hi I'm new to the forum. looks great.

the reason for my first post is last week my friend from Australia let me hear her Campfire Headphase album that she had on her ipod. The track listing was different from my version (UK version). and has some different tracks.

is her version a fake or not?

more info: heard from the telegraph line is track 1, left side drive track 9, under the coke sign is track 15.

there are other differences too.

any ideas?

I think...she downloaded The Campfire Headphase and Trans Canadian Highway and called them both TCH

could this have been an australian only album release? anyone hear from Oz who can verify this?

I doubt there's a different track listing for an Australian release..

However:

Sherbert Head -> Macquarie Ridge -> Slow This Bird Down

Sounds like an intriguing progression

just listened to that sequence, and it sounds like Sherbert Head and Macquarie Ridge have been blended together!

interesting. I am actually enjoying this version more than the original album at present.

pretty cool, im listening to it right now. i probably would have put '84 pontiac dream on there but it shows the stronger parts of both campfire headphase and trans canada highway. i acctually made a really weird boards of canada mix recently compiled completely of some of their shorter, ambient songs
