For my game-design research I'd be very much interested in what sort of toys twoism enjoyed playing with as a kid, and it's also a pretty interesting topic regardless. And was there any difference between what toys you played when you where happy or sad?

Mine are a fake-playmobile pirate fortress, lego and model airplanes. I had a big red fire-truck I'd play with when I was sad.

I had a similar fake-playmobile pirate fortress that I played with when I was happy.

I also had two sets of jenga that I would build into intricate towers and structures with rooms, place little plastic men inside, and throw a toy airplane at them to see where the bodies landed when I was sad. No joke.

Lego, playmobil, knex, super nintendo, teen vaginas. That's about it I guess

Hehe, I guess I played a lot of "doctor" too.

I also made video towers out of my parents vhs tapes, one of them almost touched the ceiling once and I needed to stand on a chair to finish the top floor.

I was also very interested in kissing girls at a very young age and its quite embarrassing.

LEGO
I used to have a lego catalogue, starting from rodeo ranch, pollice station, train station, space station and so on, I would sit and fantasize for hours looking at it. Expensive shit at that time :/

Sure was, I was lucky to have an older brother who was a complete Lego-nut providing me ample access to the bins of uncategorized pieces while he was spending all of his allowances and b-days.

Same could be said for my sisters barbies, though I played with them in a very different way

I used to make clay out of ground up sandstone and spit and build things, we weren't poor I did have Lego but clay was more fun. Also Monopoly, Game of love, Cluedo, Scrabble, never dolls I wasn't that kind of girl....hmm I also made lots of potions and stuff out of plants and anything around the kitchen. And I had the most awesome pinball machine too.

Most of the time my toys were a knife, fishing line, an insect catcher, a bike I built with my old man and a hockey stick. Ah the life of the children of a Canadian Wildlife Biologist.
For inside stuff we had a few deck of cards, Commodore 64, then a Windows PC, friends of the family gave us an Atari 2600, then my grandparents bought us an SNES. I had 1 Star Wars lego set, and that was the extent of my lego collection. Expensive indeed.
I also had a couple synths to jam on. Like this one:



In my early teens my older brother got me into skateboarding, which I did for about 7 years non-stop. Got pretty decent. Was gaming on a PS1 my brother and I saved up for at that point.
