The tricks to weathered and nostalgic photography and film

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to the topic above ^ But i was just wondering what some of you folks use these days for beautifully imperfect photography. I've been looking into it and this "Holga" camera has really struck some intrigue with me. The japanese made camera...all plastic and pretty toy-like. But i have a bunch of photos taken with holgas and they are fucking lush, beautiful. They are slightly warped and really look like they have been edited ( but they haven't ) So i was thinking about arming myself with a couple of holgas and a rare toy video camera known as the PXL-2000. Its a video came made in the 1980's by fisher price and its known for capturing a grainy and aged picture...effing awesome. So i guess the question is...do you photographers and filmers know of any other vintage gadgets that are aged and show it. I'm not really interested in glamorous equipment, no fancy pants snazzy stuff.
there is one pxl-2000 on ebay right now but its already in the 150's...shit.

Unfortunately mine wasn't letting enough light in, so I tossed it instead of beating it up some more.

I just bought a polaroid sx-70 onestep sonar land camera... haven't tried it yet but from some of the pictures I've seen taken by this camera, I am looking forward to it

i filmed something this year on a bolex (used lighting and stuff) and simply editing it using scissors and tape on a dusty editing machine gave it that special look. scanning in film from a photo camera can give quite grainy and washed effects too.

Take a normal fotograph and hold it above a candle but don`t let the flame go through.I used to do it with treasure maps to play with^^.
