Curiosity: How many people here haven't heard a single note from the new upcoming album?

I am a member of the resistance. Or to put it another way, I am still master of my domain! At least, when it comes to resisting the new album. It helps to have a shitty connection speed, so in the time it takes to download the single or anything else, the bloody album will be out!

i'm in it too - won't listen to a bit of it until the vinyl leaves my hands to be played in my living room. hurrah

I haven't heard any of it yet. I was tempted to have a quick listen to the bleep track but so far I've resisted.

i downloaded the alleged "satellite anthem icarus" track and listened to it once.
but now i am waiting. i would rather get the full experience than hear just one track at a time.

i plan on taking a day off from work and listening to it somewhere outside, maybe go for a long drive...
that sound like a good idea, a long country drive, around the reservoirs...

I haven't listened to a single note, or read any track names. I tried my best to avoid the cover art or album name, but I saw them on accident.

I haven't heard it yet and i hope i will resist until the album comes out.

well and if the posts on the Leaked-topic are about the actual tracks i'm expecting a bunch of so-so tracks too. this way it can only go up, right

I resisted until a certain member of this board hammered me to check out 2 songs.

I have decided to abstain.

Curiosity was getting the better of me. So I found the Bleep track. Listened and loved it. I found the leaked album and downloaded it. Now I've been staring at it on my desktop for hours. I just can't play it. The mp3s are a click away, but the guilt just seems to spoil the whole damn album.

I've waited years for this album, and to find it on-line seems too easy. It just feels wrong. I can tell myself I will just buy the album when it comes out, but it still doesn't matter... the anticipation has been building, and that's half the fun.

I wanna hear the shrink-wrap krinkle and smell the printing on the jacket. Ease back and let them take me away...

Boys, the mp3s are going in the trash...

Ok I have to admit, I gave in a little too. I listened to satelite anthem icarus, cromanky dreamcoat, and oscar see through red eye, all of which sounded very very nice. I think it's impossible to visit watmm and NOT want to hear any of it. But I look at it like this; I listened to samples of mhtrtc and geo before I bought them and it did'nt spoil the experience for me. It's just like when you were a kid on Christmas eve and you sneak a peak at some of your presents but save the best for the big day and still be surprised. It just made me more excited for when it's actually released. But for now I will hold off listening to any more tracks until the album is in my hands. So, yeah I still consider myself part of the resistance, but some of you are just stronger than I am. Godspeed people, godspeed.

Oh, yeah there are rumors floating around of a Japaneese version with a bonus track!

Only listened to the Bleep track, and yes, loved it. Beautiful, left me wanting more.

I've resisted everything, although I have been finding it hard to resist over the last couple of days. Still another 35 days to go...

Yeah, they need to get a tour rollin. Maybe we'll know more info when the new webpage is finished?

fair play to the resistance but not sure how you can wait. Anyways, doubt many of you will be dissapointed.
IMO it really is a stunning piece of work. Possibly their finest album.

Was going to buy the cd on release day anyway. Now fully intend to buy both vinyl and cd.

thank you boc! was feeling a bit depressed recently but listening to this album has cheered me up no end.

i haven't heard a single note, but sadly it's impossible to stay away from reviews. Even in this thread there are reviews of tracks. I really don't care if everyone thinks it sounds 'really nice'...
