BOCDOC.COM was taken, but I just registered BOCUMENTARY.COM.

Documentaries about this sort of thing can and nearly always go wrong in my opinion. It kind of ruins the whole mystic vibe of it. Playing up certain things negates impact. I don't know what words to use to describe what I mean to be honest. I just think it's a bad idea.
BoC should always stay as folklore.

Well, there is not only one way to do documentaries. I agree that a regular band documentary type wouldn't work here, but why not something else.

This is true, I've always thought that the kind of 'fan journey' documentary style, where the narrator looks at the mystery around the band, their inspirations, talks to other musicians influenced by them etc. but never actually meets them, would work perfectly.
'Jandek on Corwood' is a good example.

Only if they do something like Bad News, the precursor to Spinal Tap.

Bad News remain awesome, although they came after Tap. Their version of Bohemian rhapsody is something else.

The Comic Strip generally were legendary (Mr Jolly Lives Next Door being another cracker).

Well, Spinal Tap did debut first, but the Bad News episode of Comic Strip aired on television before Spinal Tap was released in theaters.

I have fond memories of watching Comic Strip and the Young Ones on MTV is the states when I was just a little kid. Good times.

Talk about timing. There was a documentary about Rik Mayall on BBC4 this evening and apparently they were written at almost exactly the same time and purely by chance. For the record, I love both more than is healthy.

They could always pull it off through some unconventional means, like Exit Through the Gift Shop or something. I'd welcome any sort of visual insight at this point!

I agree. There's no need to "unravel the mystery" or even interview the band, like people have perhaps assumed before panning the idea.

Definitely up for getting involved in this if it happens
