Can't say this is the greatest list I've ever seen. "Music is Math" made the Pitchfork list of the "500 greatest songs of the 2000s," which was pretty sweet, so I was kinda sad to see that Tomorrow's Harvest isn't in this new list. Not that I put much weight on the opinions of Pitchfork's editors these days...

Haha thought the same. I 100% disagree. I think this album reminds of what happened to Pink Floyd.... started off super psychedelic energetic and experimental... then matured and evolved into more “thematic stories”... i.e. “Meddle/Darkside of the Moon” - “The Wall”... some like the early stuff, some the later stuff... I prefer their early work like on Meddle.... however, with BoC, TH to me was “an experiment with theme” and more of a fictional soundtrack to a neat idea/analysis of our current collective huan behavior patterns... it’s my favorite by them...but some people won’t feel that way.... to me it IS “Geogaddi part 2” in theme and music... I am glad it isn’t like their other stuff

I've always felt pitchforks opinion is strange and unrelatable from my own personal standpoint. They rate music highly that I consider overdone, while music that blows my mind is called sub-par. Such is the way I suppose, with the subjective interpretation of art and critiquing in general.

I'll see their Music is Math and raise them an Alpha and Omega

It's probably 201 best Pitchfork album of 2010's.

When MHtRtC came out, Pitchfork gave it a decent review and a score of 7 or 8 or something. Years later they revised it to a 10 and hailed it a masterpiece. I don't like the idea of a music review site retroactively changing their reviews to make themselves look like they were ultra hip and down from the beginning. That and other things turned me off from Pitchfork.

Their review of Untilted should be enough to keep any rational audience away from their laughable publication.

There's a "Remembering the Weirdest Album Launch Stunts of the 2010s" article on the front page today, TH isn't on it either.

I agree with all this. The fact that fans are so divided on it is interesting to me, too. Maybe mixed opinions are what they were hoping for with producing an album that flows more like an OST.

Seriously? That's pretty shameful, tbh. My already pretty low opinion of the site just sank down a notch!

Also reminds me of what Nirvana did with “In Utero”... deliberately trying to thin the herd... lol which for them backfired haha and In Utero crashed through the billboards once again...
