Had a ton of fun putting this together. Had to improvise a bit for the slideshow projector sound but overall I got it to where i wanted.
The last minute or so I decided to dabble into my own little keyboard solo. Really happy with how it turned out.
Now, it sucks that I need to say this but... if you're just going to ridicule me for covering it and it not sounding as good as the original, just don't. I know it isn't as good as the original. I'm not BoC. I am but one man, who loves this track more than anything. it is my favourite musical composition of all time. I just wanted to cover it, to have a fun time, pay homage to it and see what I could come up with. I had a ton of doubts going in but I managed to accomplish it and shared it with some peers of mine and they all enjoyed it, so I'm ready to start putting it out there for others to hear. Hope you enjoy it. If not thats totally okay, jsut please don't give me the cop out line: It's not as good as Boc. again, I already am aware of that. It was never intended to be such.

I am actually blown away by your cover, the drums are top notch and the sound design on the main synth is awesome. This is a great tribute to this track. How do you work, full software or some hardware involved?

There are many that are not self aware and will give out negativity for things without thinking how the recipient will take it, but not for this, How can they? It's love in it's purest form.

it was quite the undertaking but I pulled through for the most part.

I just used FL Studio and Audacity, wish I had more hardware. haha

This is really nice. It’s almost like hearing it again for the first time.

Really awesome track, I like how calm and serene it feels and that jazzy break-down gave me chills. It's definitely recognizable as Kid For Today, but it still manages to have a sound all it's own.

In relation to this bit that I have quoted, I just want to say that this would be a plain mean point to have. I personally don't see the benefit of asking someone to basically make a copy of the original, instead of doing a version that shows your own personal connection to the song. Like you said, you're not BoC. You're a person who has been affected by this song in a very special manner, that can shine through the song in a beautiful way and add a whole new dimension to it, and that is a whole lot more alluring than just trying to paint by numbers.

That said, this was a very good listen, and the other songs you did were beautiful. Keep up the good work. <3
