HQ COPY OF OLD TUNES VOL 1 FOUND

A friend of mine has found an LEGIT HQ copy of old tunes - comparing Rodox Video, this version has higher frequencies and more audio data. Higher frequencies can be achieved with EQ but more audio data cannot. This is legit. I will be uploading it to youtube soon.

Youtube would destroy that extra bit of clarity by adding their own audio post-processing, you'd probably be better off uploading the files somewhere directly if this is legit

For those who aren't listening, this is unbelievably exciting. This is the original material, but it is not a cassette rip. Very high quality files, not just some "remaster." Could be a leak of an upcoming BoC rare materials release.

Listening to the beginning of Nova Scotia Robots I can hear the end of Roygbiv... So this might not be 100% legit sadly. Dammit. Had my hopes up for a second there.

I was skeptic when I saw this but... This sounds good. Few details. I compared Spectrum with old versions, tape dropouts happen at the same time, probably because of the master tape, these things happen on reel to reel machines. Trapped sounds really good in high frequencies.
If someone is versed with spectograms and can compare files between this and the old version then we might now this is 100% legit.
If not, whoever did this restoration job is a pro.

Are you sure about this? I can't download that remaster for some reason, but someone in the stream said they compared it and that it was different.

Yes, 100% sure. Sounds exactly the same and spectrals are a perfect match, apart from compression artifacts from the additional MP3 compression in this "new" rip.

Yep, that's identical... Seems like the era of rare boc leaks is over now, since really nothing new has come up since 2014/2015 if I'm correct. Back on the waiting game now I guess.
