Prohibited Broadcasting Theor(ies)

In my personal opinion, I believe Prohibited Broadcasting (which I will further only refer to as PB) is in some manner affiliated with Cult48, and is using the popularity gained from the Catherine Fell hoax era to piggyback some of their work to gain more popularity.
Either that or it's just some guy who's posting things he likes to make for the hell of it. Art's art.

Who knows? I wouldn't want to speculate that whoever it is had any warped intention of using the Fell shit to get hits for themselves but it's certainly a possibility. They succeeded though, they have been in conversation.
I'd rather think optimistically and think that google results randomly connected them to the hoax and one of us posted the results. PB may have thought, ah cool, I might have fun with this, same as I did.
Their work is nice enough but like my very first Fell clyp, sounds nothing like anything BoC would leak, I do wonder why it was ever considered anything more than it is, some dude noodling around and making experimental sounds with synths and tape, which a great number of people do and probably result in some warbly sounds that touch on a BoC timbre, does not mean that they are all BoC.

If you are Cult48 congratulations. The music is amazing.
Also, all of the the other music on your other channel is great and i listen to a lot of it too.

Zephyr Method created a Twoism account on August 15, 2020 and YouTube new user “Prohibited Broadcasting” adds the first video Birdycholae on August 19, 2020.
Google Image search Birdycholae also leads to eight different Google Image thumbnails which all link back to the Birdycholae video.

I think it's pretty clear this person has several accounts all trying to stir up interest and it's having the opposite effect on me.
You can't force a mystery.

I feel like I read that Zephyr was removed, is that correct? And PB, I have little knowledge about.
Cult48 is a cool fucking name though. So is Phade Rhombus, by the way.
Zephyr Method, IN MY OPINION, absolutely nailed the aesthetic and sound of Old Tunes with his latest work, which was right before he/she disappeared, I think.

Hey matey I can only say what I have said to you before, but as someone who has spent two long years watching how this forum ticks I really want you to listen to this.
If you now hold this forum in a negative regard I can only apologise because I do not see it the same way you might now do. It only takes the right person to listen to your work and really appreciate it, and that guy is most probably Mr Trails, he's one of my best friends on here simply because his love for new music is so strong that he wants to meet these musicians face-to-face, hang out and chew the fat with them!! (The guy is mad fer it so shoot him up sometime if you'd like, his enthusiasm knows no bounds.
)
There's a lot of new music out there from these past two years, and it's been quite overwhelming, so many lockdown pandemic projects perfected for the greedy guzzlers who are fans of this particular electronic style. They've been spoilt for choice by the array. I don't speak for the whole forum but I know Trails will certainly agree with this.
All I ask is that you don't feel this way in the future when coming to twoism, there's so many positives to this place and people like me, Trails and Frindia will be bursting with excitement to listen to any new music, including yours Cult maestro!
It only takes one my friend.
From personal experience, I kind of can relate. I spend most of my time here not talking about music at all, but well... anything and everything separate.
. And all in The Playground subforum section! Sometimes I do bang on about it (soz guyz), but I proclaim myself an advocate for it, and mainly just talk to myself for my
own benefit there. Of course I'd love some of you to chip in for the ride as well, but I'm not owed any attention.
It's the way it is, other parts and areas of twoism get similar lack of attention (a reappearing forum facet.)
I think there's a lot of overthinking of how this forum should react towards new blood like yourself, and if you've stayed for this ramble Ta!

Hey, I tried.
I replied to a bunch of things, but got tired of seeing my own name strewn down the board menu, and no-one coming after me to reply, not necessarily to me, but just to the topic in general. I wanted to blend in, but when there are few people posting, that's not really possible. I'll look in from time to time
