Hi all,
I got this mail yesterday:
Hey Fredd-E,
I've been a BoC fan for about 10 years now, and I just checked out your site, which is awesome. The reason I'm writing to you, is because I found something that you might like to put on your site. It's a song that I'm certain BoC has sampled and used in their albums. The track "Opening The Mouth" is definitely an obvious use of the sound, but i have a feeling that they've used it in other tracks too. Attatched is a copy of part of the song, check it out and i'm sure you'll see what i mean. Let me know what you think.
Regards,
-David.

wow this song is really fucking good...it does have striking similarites to opening the mouth...does anyone think this sounds like ISB cause ive been meaning toi look into them and if this is what they sound like...hot damn...
then again...you could argue the heavy breathing in opening the mouth could be from heat miser by massive attack...

Sounds like a boring post-psychedelic tune to me.

Ok, so obviously that guy is talking about the flute sample. The question is, how the hell did BOC single out the sound so well in Opening The Mouth?

It definetly seems like it is from this song. I wonder if BOC sampled all these things legally, because it seems it would be very expensive to pay all the artists they've secretly sampled.

It was me who sent that email to Fredd-E. I sent him a small sample of the track. If you want the full length track, email me. Btw, the ID3 tag on the file is wrong, it's actually American Composers Vol. 2 that has the track on it.
