I honestly think it's awesome that BOC shut nearly everyone out of their master plan. Whatever they hit us with is completely unsuspected. Perfect storm

If I remember correctly, he answered a question about vinyl holdups on the stream.

I think he's right that their chance to release it has passed. They decided not to for a reason back then, and that probably won't change.

I think BOC are trying a perfect storm here. They only like people's tweets about new albums but there's never been any discussion from anywhere about what it actually entailed. I asked PIC back in 2019 and he said "I couldn't tell you anything about it but sit tight" which obviously means "yes there's something coming but BOC want it to be a surprise."

Even if Sean knows, I'm sure BOC asked him not to tell the fans. They operate in complete secrecy because that's their whole schtick.

Thoroughly enjoyed that, I could handle a weekly Sean podcast with just him rambling pish on his stoop.

I highly doubt Ae and BoC even converse anymore. They were kinda close like what, 20-25 years ago? Maybe there's been some sporadic chatter since then, but it wouldn't surprise me if they haven't communicated with each other in any capacity for at least a decade. They're both doing vastly different things now, life happens, etc. It's unlikely they have any scoop on the bros' plan of attack. If they do, it's more likely to have been mentioned to them by a contact at Warp in a conversation re: release planning, as opposed to being informed directly from the source. Also, didn't one of the 'techre lads mention a while back that BoC tightened their social circle once the Old Tunes tapes were leaked? Perhaps they haven't spoken since then?

Regardless, it was hella cool that Sean did this AMA. Lots of insightful and genuinely laugh out loud moments throughout - he seems like a very grounded bloke. I'm hoping this becomes a regular thing with each tour, but I won't hold my breath.
