One of the most hauntingly beautiful voices I've ever heard. And by all accounts a really nice person. RIP.

Listened to Double Negative yesterday very loud on my drive home, teared up completely. True artists with no commercial imperative or ambition, it was all for the love and advancement of the music. I hope Alan can find a path through the incalculable grief of loosing a life parter and musical collaborator.

Only listened to I Could Live in Hope 6 years ago iirc, I seem to pretty like it but never took the time to come back to this band.
