I wanted to dig a little deeper on Hooper Bay, but I didn't know where to start so I wanted to ask here.

1)
Why does everyone want to hear Hooper Bay?
2)
Why hasn't BoC released Hooper Bay?
3)
Why is the Hooper Bay cover so different from all other BoC covers?

Those are my 3 questions, feel free to speculate, but expect little input from me since I'm not very educated on Hooper Bay.
If you can't answer these, that's fine.

Personally I don't want to hear Hooper Bay any more than any of the other early releases.

They have released Hooper Bay

Good question about the cover, It must mean something to them, Perhaps we will never know. But there is that gif of a kid drawing a circle in on a wall and a track called circle, Looks like the photo and gif are from the same place

Says there its a known release.. Take that as you will.. But doesn't state how many copies or if it was Vinyl tape or CD

I mean there was a HB hoax like a couple months ago. By Biznasty and Niski, maybe that could be referencing that?

No mate this was from the BoC discography from the early 2000's on music70.com. That doesn't prove it's real though.

Apparently mentions of Hooper Bay go back earlier than 1999 but I think that post about the guy or gal having Hooper Bay is the earliest reference I can find. So yeah it goes way back

Looks like they're drawing a hexagon more than a circle in that gif

The only interesting insight about Hooper Bay that I know of is that supposedly the cover image used for the EHX site was stretched to fit a CD release, when in reality the image fits more as a cassette cover (similar to the OT covers.)

For the first question, why wouldn't you more Boards of Canada, especially something earlier than Twoism?
