About R35TT

My only question, is that, could some of the songs in R35TT, be songs from their lost albums? Like Closes, Play by numbers, acid mem, etc. And also, why the hell didn't the album cover get leaked? I feel like it was just a mixtape and there was nothing fancy to it. I personally think BoC themselves leaked it.

Godever is surely A14, and B09 has the WYLTBF drums sped up.

Other than that nothing’s confirmed.

Also, mdg confirmed they don’t know about the mixtape, it was surely made around 1993-1999, it was probably made by someone who got ahold of their material and made the tape to show his friends, this can also be likely due to the tape having a cd skip in A09, which is even present in the non NRed rips, CDs are often used by people who can’t afford an aux cord to put their songs on tapes.

Also the old tunes tapes are made and compiled by BoC themselves, due to them mentioning them in their interviews.

My guess is that a friend they gave the mixtape to, found it years after, and posted it online... Maybe.... B04 sounds slot like dayvan cowboy though, it would be crazy that they would take inspiration from a super early song and use it in something 13 years later.... Doesn't it?

Also, you're right. We can never know for sure until we find the lost albums themselves.

There's a theory about this. See it here

Didn't they say in an interview somewhere that this is kinda their M.O.?

???

if you're bringing in the argument that a14 was seen as "godever" in 2002 on audiogalaxy, please remember r35tt leaked in ~2000-2001

Pretty sure the leaked godever had different eq and was extended by exact time of godever in the website tracklist and was encoded differently than R35TT

Also just because godever leaked later R35TT doesn’t really prove my argument wrong, it could still be godever, just leaked later

you've heard a fake file, the leak circulating around 2002 was actually a renamed file - the original filename was 'old tunes vol. 1' and was the leak from artistdirect from april 2001 when benjib wanted to prove to people he has an unheard of (at the time) boc tape from mp3/cdr trading

Quick question, how tf do you know so much about the tapes?

Do you have any links to back up what you’re saying? Files, screenshots, etc? Because I’m only familiar with the fake file that sdoww and catalog 3 posted on their yt accounts.

Yes, but that shouldn't just be there to imply he's an all-seeing-all-knowing individual on R35TT, a different subject, although I believe he is very very knowledgeable about it, I have seen it for myself. :)

I knew that, and that he also made the R35TT remaster with oliveoil22, but he knows a lot more about the tapes than I ever imagined, im just asking how he discovered that information.

do you have discord? i can DM you the archive.org links and tell you some info i've found - don't want to do it here because all things considered using forums is just too slow for that type of conversation where there's lots of loose info to be said

furthermore i wanted to make a big post/bocpages article/etc where i clear up ALL the old tapes confusion once i get everything cleared up, unfortunately since a while ago i've run into a brickwall due to dead pages which are not archived and a lack of leads to continue the proper research, with my most recent discovery probably being the recently added december 2001 quote from hexagon sun official https://bocpages.org/wiki/Statements_fr ... ember_2001

Then just do the post, or doc, etc. as some sort of “as far as we know”. Also, I used discord for a week in late October, was genuinely dogshit for my health, among other things. It would make more sense to use a mega google doc since it’s: 1: easier to edit rather than a long Twoism thread filled with updates. 2: Public, rather than discord’s member only approach. And 3: it’s just easier to make that sort of timeline there.

As far as I know about the R35TT leaks:

Late 90s: R35TT leaked in a password-protected hotline number
1999: R35TT and the old tunes leak in p2p sites Glen_Glog stumbles across a non NRed, partial version of R35TT.
April 2001: On artistdirect, benjib leaks A14 in an attempt to prove that he has an (unheard of at the time) BoC tape from CDr/mp3 trading.
2003: Big WATMM leak happens, all old tunes (including R35TT) leak widely
2004: Most of the old tunes become well known in the community.
