Does WARP affect BoC in their lack of live shows?

I remember some time ago about reading an interview with BoC where they mentioned they'd love to do more live shows but that WARP really wants them to perform in the US instead of the UK where they reside. Just been a thought in my mind as of late. Wonder how much of their silence is due to that.

Oh, what a shame! I wish they could play in the U.K. as well. Darn WARP!

The opposite - according to OP, Warp wants them to play in the States, but they live in the UK.
I don't really think that has much to do with it though. If they really did want to play live they would have done it at any point in the last 20+ years. They did mention in an interview each gig takes them "several months" of full time prep; trying to take a show like that on tour at this stage in their lives would probably be pretty daunting, and a single local show would sell out in a fraction of a second, while generating an overwhelming amount of attention.
