I mean it very much echoes the store record day arg from 2013. And you know it's SOMETHING after a 13 years gap. Ppl have the rights to go bonkers

I'm not 100% sure either this or the TH campaign can be called an ARG. It wasn't exactly an "alternate reality" was it?

TH was an ARG. This is not. I don't think you understand what an ARG means. They didn't hold hands with the fans to figure out the cryptic stuff about the TH rollout.

Not an ARG. I thought it might be at first but this is just setting a tone for what's to come. Nothing for us to really do except sit back, absorb, admire and wait.

There is a relatively new tiktok account with a lot of views and videos of wildlife footage changing rapidly with a computer voice over boards of canada style music with numbers and cryptic messages, but i don't think its them - i looked up the location and it was australia - the channel is called 01948762352897269676551c if you want to take a look.

I don't really have a finger on the pulse of this kind of thing but this feels right to me.

Which works for me because I just don't have the energy nor the knowhow to go scrambling around the modern age technoscape hunting for crumbs.

Same. I don't really feel like easter egg hunting like I once did, there's been so much of that. I just want to behold the good art and sweet tunes.

I feel this too, and I do not think we're meant to. The silence is wild though, and the way this is all unfolding doesn't feel traditional to me anymore.
