First of all, I have to say that I have never taken this for granted, I wasn't able to contribute but I was able to listen on repeat almost religiously.

Coming back to this forum is amazing and I hope Twoism Records continue.

Do let me know where I can listen to the early mixes, 1 and 2.

Oh my word my brain has heard some amazing things since returning to this place. That opening intro on Volume 1 has just taken me right back to my happy place. I love you all dearly.

Being a part of these was such a joy. And such an amazing moment for me as a virtually unknown artist, to be alongside so much talent. These are still the only places you can listen to the Boreal Network tracks I contributed!

Really was a fantastic time being apart of getting these up and running. Was only ever able to contribute to the first two volumes. I am so happy to see they carried on. The past month leading up to the new BoC release and visiting this forum has been such a joy. So many good memories attached to this message board. I am ashamed that I was away for so long. I think I will stick around this time.

One of my happiest memories was on the last one (still the best imo), in the run up to release, a box of the CDs arrived to test. So exciting seeing the artwork etc for real.

Ae still has the white label vinyl I believe, even though we never went ahead with it in the end.

I also have wonderful memories of putting together and mixing the compilations. With most of the volumes, I paid less attention to the quality during the process. Partly because you listen to the music over and over again, and it only really comes together as a whole in the end. It was only years later that I was able to hear it more as ‘One on Twoism’. Don't have a real favorite tbh, all have their own unique atmosphere. Production wise version 6 sounds more advanced though.

Lovely to read all the memories!

Looks great, sounds absolutely awful!!!!
It was printed as a test on laquer to produce a limited edition, but at the time there were few options for very small runs. These days there are more options available, with much bette r mastering.

As I recall we worked out the unit cost and everyone would have been stumping up almost £50 a go, back long before £40 was normal for vinyl. And yeah, I recall you were less than enamoured with the audio. Shame really. Like you say, these days it would likely be achievable. Could we go back...? #justsayin

I'd buy em on wax for sure.

We can give it a go, but a limited-edition double vinyl will still cost at least €60.

Another Bad Dream is one of my Boreal favorites! Deliciously crunchy and woozy!
