Maybe because it lacks factual information.

Still, it's kind of an interesting story when you get down to it. It's like that urban legend about Phil Collin's "In the Air Tonight." Not true, but still interesting.

I second that.

Err, how about the facts that they put up a load of weird code shit on their site with a picture of a red moon and a date of 10th June and then loads of wankers put hoaxes on WATMM and then someone figured out some co-ordinates which prompted a group of people to try and find the speculated party but they didn't and soemone else pointed out that the co-ordinates were probably different ones which triangulated an area around the east coast but only one vaguely unsubstantiated story came about about going there and another total load of guff about finding the remains of a tape in fire the next morning.
Those are all facts about what happened but we have no facts about what BOC intended or if anything really happened on that night.
You could just paste that into the wiki.

I see Fredd already pointed on the page I made, but BunnyRabbit summed it up pretty well anyway:

In the end, we still don't know anything about what they images meant and what (if any) actual events happened on June 10th.
Aside from the stuff posted on music70.com, all the other mystery posters and other sites were revealed to be hoaxes.
