But it's ofcourse easier to get it all at once...


PS: I'm talking about those live sets and stuff because the retail cd's are worth buying ofcourse but not from such an ebay seller who is trying to make some money out of them.. that's a shame actually.

By purchasing this unobtainable material from my favourite band I have brought shame on my house. I have also brought a lot of smiles, happiness and toe-tapping. So overall I'm comfortable.

You've also given money to someone who is illegally selling copies of someone else's music and profiting from all their hard work - well done.

I'd be more than happy for BoC to profit from my interest in their early music - if only they'd actually release any of the damn stuff.

This one is really a dilly of a pickle if you think about it. While I agree that this guy is probably just selling his mp3 collection, he isn't the only one profiting from BoC's music. Isn't everyone selling BoC stuff on ebay profiting off of BoC is some way or another? Furthermore, not only are the profits coming from the music itself, but also the hype surrounding the unreleased, yet leaked, material. In other words, while it is just plain dirty, it is not unexpected. Perhaps the best thing is not to encourage this type of behavior.

Yeah man, I could have gave you all that stuff. Any one of us could post that stuff on ebay to make some quick cash, but speaking for myself I choose not to. But if thats all stuff you have'nt heard and the music is bringing you happiness then I guss thats all that matters.

Agreed, if anything I would rather give it out on CDs for FREE, or maybe packaged with a 20 dollar bill to send to the boards in the mail! haha

Note above, I spent ages getting all the rare albums together from P2P. I don't agree with downloading from tracks by artists from small labels (established artists who aren't short of a few euros are a different matter), but when there are albums that are impeossible to buy, I don't think it's wrong. What I do think is wrong is profiting from the creativity of other people (by selling mp3 cds)

I live in an quite isolated place and its quite difficult to buy a lot of music and so far the only record of BOC i have been able to buy was the re-release of Twoism. So I end up downloading a lot of stuff that I like, stuff that i do buy if i happen to find out.
I'm a musician myself and even though I release my music freely through Netlabels, I spend a lot more money on gear and instruments than I earn making music.
Support the artists, buy their work!

I'm sorry to say but I think that's a lame excuse to not buy music from your favorite artist. I bought 60% of my BoC collection at online shops.

i dont have a credit card so most online shops wont ship to the atlantic without doubling the price. and believe, i would already have bought everything online if i could.

hell, i'm thinking about throwing down for this CD-R collection myself. ~$20 USD is a bit for some burned mp3s but i've never used soulseek or any p2p networks, much less trying to piece everything together. i've noticed people here seem very decent about sharing what they've got, but this seems like alot of material.

is there anything that's *not* on this collection?
