Anyone here play the Metal Gear Games? I love the stories, and the acting is great for a game! This looks soooooooooo good!

I LOOOOOVE Metal Gear. MGS4 is the only reason for me to want a PS3 at the moment, hahaha. It looks like a good update to the series from the last two games....

oh hells yeah. my fiance and i are big fans of metal gear. i wannna play this one but i dont wanna pay that much for a damn ps3...so i will waiting...i also want to play army of two for xbox360...its looks fuckin awesome..check it out

BEST game of the year IMO. Totally worth it. Maybe one of the best zelda titles i have played too.
Game Informer who is very ps3 and xbox360 bias even named it game of the year.

'Twilight Princess' is essentailly like 'Ocarina of Time' for the N64, but WAY more polished with a fleshed out story. That in itself makes it a fantastic choice. Plus it is an epic, lengthy title; took me 75 hours to complete from beginning to end!
Twin Snakes is still awesome though, but it's totally different from Zelda. Get them both!

I bought twin snakes for 14 bucks. I might get Zelda later next year when it comes down in price.

I love the Metal Gear Solid series. Although the chances of me buying a Playstation 3 are very low.

I ordered the Limited Edition of MGS4 yesterday. I can't wait. It comes out June 12th.
I've played MGS1 13 times, MGS2 15 times (to try to understand it better
), MGS3 12 times. They are sooo good. I'm obviously a fanboy.

I envy you..if I had money for a PS3 I would be doing the same thing, although I am not a fan of the PS3. I probably have played all the games about as much as you have lol...

Zelda just gets lamer. I stopped playing Twilight Princess about 1/4 of the way through after the Wii-gimmicky-ness wore off and I realized I was just playing Zelda. AGAIN.
Twin Snakes was cool, although I didn't much care for the extra "cinematic flair" they felt they needed to add to the cutscenes. Made it seem less realistic.

I'm thinking about renting Zelda but I have a feeling I'll do the same thing you did ahaha...as for the Twin Snakes I want to play it but I hear they went and changed the voice acting for some characters with accents..Mei Ling and Naomi will never be the same....

The voice acting and music re-done in twin snakes was a huge mistake. I find myself playing the original for the PSOne instead. Which is now being sold again in the MGS Essential collection for PS2 for like $30.
Ya, Zelda did provide some fun, but I wanted more out of it. And less wii-gimmiky-ness. It was still a pretty good game though. The next one will hopefully be better.
