what are your visions when you listen to this track?
i always see this green hill from hirst person view...while the track is slowly breaking through at the end with the happy melody i start to see the horizont and a bright light.
and what about the secret sheppard chant in the track...did anyone noticed it?

I have beach visions when I hear this track, and that is simply because of the (sea)gull sample

a live version of happy cycling was one of the first BoC songs i heard. I always envisioned somekind of biking thru a dirt road with green trees on both side, you know the green they have when they just started to grow their leaves in spring.

I see this person riding his bicycle through the woods when all of a sudden, he starts having these acid flashbacks of sorts....he continues riding though but eventually gets lost in the past and never to be found...

right, this post may be long and rambling...but i need to vent my thoughts somewhere.
the first time i heard the track 'happy cycling' was on a cliff overlooking aberystwyth -

,
although slightly to the left than in this image. it must have been around 3am, a full moon was placed in the sky. i was experiencing my first mdma trip, having already taken a few pills. i'm not the biggest chemical drug user, and always preferred having the odd joint now and again. anyways, happy cycling comes on my mp3 player, i remember looking out across the town and out to sea. by now the moon had become a dark red colour, i remember the waves rolling backwards instead of forwards, the moon began bouncing across the sky. i remember seeing right up close to the moon, almost like i had tried taking a photograph with an 18-55mm lens resulting in an out of focus view. as i came down i remember the world awakening...depression kicked in. anyways, the point of this long ramble is that although i no longer take drugs, this song really evokes such an odd emotion inside me...almost the complete an utter isolated unknowingness i felt on that night...

I imagine Albert Hoffman on a bike ride. Strange things are floating in the sky. Peoples' faces look distorted. He's probably on acid.

used to listen to it constantly, especially the finale,I often equate it to the spectrum of human emotion, the first part solitude, the second part contentment...

i have the image of the cycles we go through in our lives, from birth to death, as if the song were some sonic evidence of a path, and the feelings of peace, joy and excitement to be able to get back to that rhythm when you are lost...

I see a beach, with a pelican and a guy shouting. Unoriginal, but eh.

I usually skip it, I think it's one of the worst tracks they've done. Wait till I've put my helmet on before you start throwing rocks at me yeah?
