You know, you guys are arguing over the goofiest shit. I think that the Japanese indeed have some really, really weird stuff, but we all do. I like applesauce with my pizza, or syrup on my eggs... other people like octopus porn. To each there own!

Jap : noun and adjective ; informal and offensive term for japanese.
my girlfriend who is japanese also finds the term offensive. so this is me justify-ing my reaction. if you didnt mean it to be offensive, then ok, i apologise for my statement too. i just keep seeming to hear people being racist everywhere i turn, im getting tired of it. "damn japs" is what did it for me, not nessesarily the word 'jap' on its own. try japanese or nihonjin instead.
