My favourite album from BOC is still:Music Has The Right To Children! The right record at the right time(1998),countrysite electronics, a nice sleeve,a little new age,the colour discribed the sound! The Campfire Headphase is no surprise, but has fantastic tracks like'A Moment Of Clairity'and'Farewell Fire",but Boards of Canada is still one of my favourite electronic music.

hard for me to say really, i enjoy them all quite a bit - especially Twoism and Hi Scores. i distinctly remember falling in love when i first popped in Hi Scores and the title track opened up with it's beautiful synth lines and then that distorted break faded in. floored me, one of my favorite tracks ever. listened to In A Beautiful Place... tonight and love that too.

i guess my favorite one is whichever i'm listening to at the time.

i don't believe in a 'best of'-system of any sort, but i should admit that In A Beautiful Place has a special place in my heart :)

I'd differentiate between 'best' and 'favorite'.

I think that The Campfire Headphase is the best thing that they've ever done. The maturity of their production techniques and musical arrangement really shines through, with lush and at times symphonic creations.

However, at the moment my favorite would either be Beautiful Place or Geogaddi. The sparse, subtle and perfectly placed additions and subtractions of INABPOITC are what really got me in deep. On the other hand the atmosphere created in Geogaddi is unmatched.

boc maxima for its rawness, unrefined, and scattered qualities (red moss is amazing), MHTRTC because it made me shiver and feel like i had discovered music for the first time all over again (like a rebirth), geogaddi for massive headphuck and general paranoia (almost had to check myself into the funny farm), hi-scores for nlogax and balloon, twoism because it makes me sad, in a beautiful place because it reminds me of home (vancouver island) and TCHP for making me wait for so fuckin long. (dont ever do that to me again)

1) HI SCORES is the best IMOHO
2) Geogaddi
3) MHTRTC
4) Twoism
5) IABPOITC
6) TCH - really really think they could have put alot more heart an soul into it. to me it sounds like they didnt finish it.....
