Just discovered this one over the weekend, and frankly I'm shocked its not widely known -

Yimino - The Evolution Of Bulbuss And The Polymorphic Nightmare

If you know where to find it grab it asap, and if not I might be able to point you in the right direction. I know that Fredd-E snatched it per my recommendation, so hopefully he'll chime in with an opinion as well.

Yeah, seconded. I'm actually playing with them at Lab30 later this year. Very nice guys. Their first EP, Egg Noodles, is well worth seeking out too.

Hasnar reminds me of something Mike P would've done a few years ago, but way more polished. Thats essentially what they remind me of. A really slicked out Mike P.

I'm going to check this album I've snatched from the piggie site in some minutes.. why aren't they on discogs though? And is there somewhere album art available?

This is all I've found -

Supposedly new album coming soon but I don't know where that info comes from. I also contacted them about ordering this and the EP but no response yet.

Thanks for the recommendation. :) Listening now to a few tracks found on their site, sounds very nice. I'm hearing a some Plaid influence here.

At first listen I had to vote decent. It's ok. It's nice. But it didn't blow my mind.. maybe you guys set too high expectations? :-)

Yeah, that's always the tricky part - trying to get someone interested enough to listen but not build it up too much.

For me this one clicked on the second listen, in my car where I could feel the full devastation of the bass in the track '2 Left Feet'. Its also in many ways a long album with energetic peaks and valleys.

I wonder if we would've had different reactions if we first heard it in 2003 upon release...

The 'Egg Noodles EP' just got uploaded to the pig if anyone's interested

I love this group. Its so nice to find some real quality IDM considering how much cookie cutter shit I wade through in my continual search for new music

Got added by Yimino on MySpace a mere day after listening to his stuff for the first time, freaky! But yeah, this is great music!

I've been waiting for this day! Yimino is finally releasing a limited run of hard copies for Autonoe Vera, including a DVD.

Price is reasonable, I paid 12.80 pounds ($18 on conversion) to ship to California.
