Has anyone seen this trailer yet? It's looks awesome, though I hope the payoff is worth it. You'll know what I mean when you watch it.

Yap. Fucking cool.
Way more into this than the NIN ARG (if you've started following this one at all).
Oh yeah, saw you at Stone Horse! My mouth was full of beer and you were with someone or I would have chased you outside.

Saw the trailer before Transformers, beat the 5 puzzle game, hoping it doesn't suck!
Looks awesome as hell though.

Trent Reznor's little nerd project is part of what makes me hate him so much these days.
*used to love him a lot*

If I was with a woman, that was my lovely fiance. StoneHorse is some good shit, though I usually stick with straight up sushi (they have the freshest salmon i've had in Dallas). And next time you see me, please chase. I love a good foot race.

Nope,
looks like another mindless action film. Not a fan of those.

My friend watched it and said it wasn't good. He said it was very similar to "blair witch project" and the monster itself was disappointing...

personally, i love watching mindless action films because of how ridiculous they are. they make me laugh. im down for any movie thats bad enough to provoke a few laughs at its expense.
supposedly Cloverfield is about Cthulu, h.p. lovecraft's creature, or, one of the many.

just saw this and to weigh in my two cents - it was the best fucking monster movie i've seen in years, bar none. everything worked extremely well and its not something you'd want to wait for on dvd...totally a theatre experience. the monster was original, it has nothing to do with cthulhu, 9/11, godzilla, lost, alternate reality games or action films. go see it.

Its not at all actually. Just a crazy-ass sea monster..the ctuhlu thing was just some dumbassed speculation before the movie came out.
YEah oldschool!

Saw it. It was pretty good, don't think it was spectacular. It was hard to look at the screen at times because of the camera work (I was right at the front). I wish more was explained, but apparently you can find out more about the monster online through an ARG or something.

I agree. I'm tempted to play said games just because I liked it so much..I may go see it again today!

i saw it yesterday... id say it lived up to the expectations set by the trailers. it wasnt trying to be anything more than what it was, so thats ok with me. i really dont get why they went through all of that trouble to hide what the monster was though.. it was just some big weird looking thing... but i guess hiding the monster is a good way to build up hype.

I heard that it's good from more people than not. Don't know if I'll see it in theaters though.
