Although a few years old now, I still regard disk 1 of this compilation to be one, if not the best, disk compiled in Global Undergrounds catalogue. Now many of you might not be fans of the progressive house scene and may be wondering why on earth im posting this, BUT, if you havent heard disk one of this album I strongly suggest you check it out. Ive had it since it was released and all the time ive been on this board ive never thought to post about it up until now. I listened to it last night and it made me realise again how good it is. I think many of you will be pleasantly suprised by it. Check it out people!

yes this is one of my favorite GU:s, it's definitely worth the money.. i think this is destined to be a future classic when you look back in the future. nick truly shows his diversity with this release. warren is like good wine, only gets better over the years..

highly recommended.

Just picked this up today. HMV are doing a sale of all the GU CDs. They're all priced at £3.99, even the lavishly packaged ones.

Anyway, the mix from Ulrich Schnauss to BOC to Yunx is worth the admission price alone on this one. Ace.

I second that emotion. I got this when it came out and it remains one of my favs of all time. The only other warren mix that would be of interest to BOC fan is warrens 'back to mine' mix, the rest is a bit too upfront house - as wasted money on prague, amsterdam and brazil have testified. couldnt get hold of any of the artists on Reykjavik when last i tried and assumed that it was mostly white label stuff. Anyone had any luck geting hold of any?

The only ones I have are Ulrich Schnauss, Yunx and Global Communication. I think Nick Warren specialises in picking up on obscure stuff that other DJs miss.

As prog house mixes go, his Shanghai set is pretty good... but still nothing like the downtempo one here.

I to got this when it first came out but I also got the vinyl pack. On vinyl is:
Avatar 'Dub In Time'
Atlas 'Compass Error'
Boards Of Canada 'Happy Cycling'
Global Communication '14:31
(and 2 off cd 2)

Anyway, Global Communication sounds amazing on vinyl as does HC. All full length tracks as well.
