Robert Fripp worked on soundscapes for Windows Vista - don't know if it was inlcuded in the finished version or not...

I read somewhere (can't remember the source)that originally Michael Jackson had wanted Kraftwerk to produce Thriller but they didn't accept the offer. Great album anyway but can you imagine how it would have sounded.

Jon Bon Jovi (stiffles vomit) wrote and "performed" on the - brace yourself - "Christmas in the Stars - The Star Wars Christmas album" in 1980. I heard a snippet of this gem some years ago and he duets with R2-D2 on one the tunes. No, seriously.

I don't know what's scarier - the fact that there was a Star Wars album at all, the fact that they thought for some reason it should be a CHRISTMAS album, the fact that Jon Bon Jovi should sing it, or that he clearly thought he could do a duet with what is basically a bleeping dustbin (trashcan for our friends over the pond) on tanks tracks.

Pure, diamond-tipped, gold-plated genius.

Surely that was years before Jon Bon Jovi hit the big time? He must've been fairly young.

In April 2007, it was announced that Marvel Studios has a Spider-Man musical in the works. Julie Taymor of The Lion King fame will direct and U2's Bono and The Edge will compose and write the music.
