New BOC (no, i am not making this up)

Went over to pitchforkmedia today to look for a review for "in rainbows" and i was pleasantly surprised by this new article:
Avant-rap folkie Why? (aka Yoni Wolf) and crew (pictured leftward) are set to release a pair of 12"s for new single "The Hollows" in the U.S. and the Europe on Anticon and Tomlab, respectively. The Anticon-issued "Hollows" single is due November 19, and in addition to the title track, it sports a remix by Dntel, and covers of older Why? tracks by Xiu Xiu and Half-Handed Cloud.
The Euro Tomlab single-- out November 18 but subject to change-- gets a Boards of Canada remix and covers by both Dump (James McNew of Yo La Tengo's other thing) and Islands. Hey, Boards of Canada! Glad to hear you guys are still around.
Dntel and Boards of Canada. Thats awesome.

Why are great.
Okay, here's the bit where I puff my chest out and look all pleased with my self.
I've met Why and they DJ'd (briefly) at a little (as in tiny) night I used to to co-run. Yoni actually got on the mic at one point and did this funny made up rap/song about some students in fancy dress who were being annoying and shouting over the music. It was nothing really, but very cool for me and my cohorts.
I will see if my contact (don't you just love it when people do that?) knows anything more about the remix.

Right. Why? is one of the rappers from Clouddead. So if you've heard BoC's "Dead Dog 2" remix then you've heard Why?'s voice already. I've never heard any of his solo work. Although Dose One's work has been pretty cool- so it might be cool. I'll have to check it out.

Why? Is the band's name as much as Yoni's now I think. Yoni is the vocalist and kind of leader of the band and has been recording under that name for a while but the call eth baand Why? too. It's slightly confusing.

if it sounds like cLOUDDEAD then i expect good things for the remix. BoC's remix of Dead Dogs II is my favorite remix of theirs that's ever been done.
