Radiohead's In Rainbows, BOC inspirations?

i really love this album. after listening several times now, it's clear that boc influenced radiohead more than once on these tracks.
examples:
All I Need - the beat and SH101 bassline seem very reminiscent of ROYGBIV
Videotape - the beat sounds like it was lifted straight out of Gyroscope
15 Steps - the children sample seems like an obvious nod to BOC in general

I doubted to lock this topic as I think it also should be in the BoC section. It's well spotted and worth a topic of its own in the right section.
FYI: It had been discussed before in
this topic.

Personally, I can't make out any connection between the two, except the title.
The children laughter (ÿeey'ing) sound like its sampled from Black Moth Super Rainbow's "Snail Garden" who, are obviosly inspired by BoC.

The opening beats of 15 Step hit me as kinda boc-ish, in some way..but other that what's been mentioned I can't think of anything else. It's a gooooood fuckin album though, I've been listening to it constantly.

Don't know if the idea of children chatter is the sole domain of BoC.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't aphex doing that way back with Hangablle auto bulb ep, richard d james lp, come to daddy etc.
Also, Basil Kirchins 'emergence' is slightly BoCish imo beyond the childrens voices samples. That dates back quite a while.

I wonder if I was inspired to take a walk in the woods last night by "Forest Moon"?
Why does everything have to be inspired by BoC?

Yeah, Radiohead have put out some BoC-ish stuff before. The beginning of Like Spinning Plates sounds sorta BoC-ish to me.
