**EDITORIAL NOTE: I really like what Fredd-E has done with this thread. When you post news about an upcoming release, please post the date if you have it (and the source if you can). If it's only speculated that such and such an album will come out this year, please indicate this as so, as I don't actively follow all of the artists mentioned here. :) THANKS! - TD

Also check out Textures, they're in a similar vein as Meshuggah and they're also working on a new album.

I'm pretty sure stephen wilkinson, aka bibio, will be releasing new records this year.

Just looking at his myspace, he has added brand new clips of songs

The first volume of the fucking Neil Young Archives..if it ever gets fucking released. It was supposed to be out Feb 18 but I think they pushed it back to summer..which is totally lame. I can see it getting delayed further..I just wish he'd fucking release it already..he's only been working on the damn box set since 1988..seriously!

With the exception of Meshuggah, Ciaran, and Lone, do you have dates on these or are these just rumors at this point?

no, but if you check on qp's myspace, he said he will be releasing an ambient ep as well as a full length at some time. 311's official site has said that they are recording. also, I heard that team sleep, chino moreno's (deftones) side project will be releasing a free mp3 ep sometime. anyone ever hear what happened to portishead??

Good catch. That date checks with the newsletter.
That link, bad bbc code aside, appears to be non-functional.

It looks like the Tatamax is already out. Is there a date on the Quinoline Yellow?
