Has anyone heard of him? I have one record and a book of his artwork. Really like both quite a bit. I believe he is from Norway.

i've got Melke, his 'singles and mixes unreleasedn sheeyat' album. i think he makes great music (i fell in love with Evil House, Evil Day - the Melke-version that is - it's one fuck of a great song). also got this smalltown supersound shirt he designed a few years ago . i think you can still download his datamusic thing, it's free and good.

Tree Weekend it s great book, art can be fun. I have Hei and i've always loved it. He's been a great influence on my own stuff. I have to get that other record though.

shared a cab with him after a gig once. a pretty quiet person, I must admit.
I like his Hei album, but not too keen on his later stuff. He's an excellent graphic designer too, and has made a truckload of sleeves for lables like Rune Grammofon and Smalltown Supersound. He's also a character in a book written by norwegian author Erlend Loe, don't think it's translated, but if it is the book's called "L" (in norwegian atleast)

Yeah I listened to an hour long interview with him that is available somewhere on the web (sorry I don't remember the URL). And yes, he seems fairly reserved. I really like his approach and his outlook on music, art, etc. Is Melke(?) that much different than Hei??

i think Hei is more coherent as an album, Melke suffers a bit from being a compilation, with that said, there are a few good tracks on it

I downloaded Hei & Melke now they are on order love them both!!! Evil House, Evil Day is such an awesome tune!!

The one I've listened to a lot is Fantasin Finns, which I now see is a collection from other releases. The standout for me has always been 'Forskjellige Gode Ting' which is also on Hei
