What tracks would you include? I'm making a mix for my friend who has'nt heard anything by Boc. I have Skimming Stones on my profile song on myspace and she said she liked it, so I offered to make her a mix. I tried not to include anything too wierd and abstract for her first listen. But I'm thinking it might be better just to burn MHTRTC or something for her cause that's what got me hooked. What do you guys think? Well, here's what I have;

That's as good a choice as any. When I was in the same situation I just burnt a copy of Maxima because I figured they'd still find it useful if they ended up buying all the albums.

Well, I kinda wanted to do a "Best Of" just to get her used to the sound of Boc. I actually burnt this last night and found myself listening to it a few times today. (probably more than she will):lol: My attempts at trying to get people into Boc has been a losing battle.

I am planning to make a mix myself... Everything is ready, tracklisting and all, I just need to find time to mix (the mix is 2 parts: Part 1 and Part 2 - part 1 has darker BoC stuff (example gyroscope) and part 2 has more "happier" BoC stuff (roygbiv))

I had the same idea, but I just decided to combine both dark and happy tracks together.

naw.. its good with half and half, plus it fits on CD.

skip Hi Scores I dont think she will like that high pitch noise....most girls dont like it...its a lovely track anyway and most ardcore BoCers love it...but its not good for the new ones and especially if u are not used to electronic music...
An Eagle In Your Mind is maybe a bit too dark..
but I love the rest of the list.

Well, my intent was to put the most accesable tracks on there, but by the end of the mix I realized I put all my favorites on there.

Hi Scores is staying on there cause it's brilliant, and as for AEIYM, it only gets dark towards the end of the track.

If it's about to make a nice mix, then I would pick the songs which form a nice entity.

If it's about getting someone into BoC by means of a mix(tape)/compilation, I would pick my personal favs.
