listened to it today... special record indeed... sounded nice and refreshing in a way.. must sound huge at a festival I suppose

They supported Cornelius earlier in the month at Shepard's Bush, and they were okay. Nice and loud, a bit repetitive. They did a song where one of them made tribal noises into the mic. It was annoying.

it's not the most exciting live act. I was quite glad I had my earplugs
it's not bad if you're in the mood for it, but it's not really engaging enough to listen to often.

yeah, didnt they start out as a "noise" band? i usually wouldnt be into that, but they have more rhythmic and melodic elements in their music than most noise artists.

first time i heard it i liked it a lot, but i kind of lost interest after awhile. i still like black dice and growing's stuff more.

yeah that's been my main gripe with the record.
