Hello, my name is Radio and I'm an bocoholic.

I've been introduced to BoC by a friend in, I think, 2006 after he told me to download Geogaddi. I did and I listen to it without paying much attention. The only track that standed up was Gyroscope. So one day, a couple of months ago, I decided for some reason to give the album a new chance so I loaded it up on my MP3 player and went to bed with it. To be perfectly honest I kinda got lost while hearing it, I had many things on my head. But then You Could Feel the Sky came along and by the time the ending screaming came I felt like I almost could.

Later on I got heavily into Geogaddi and then into MHTRTC, followed by other works (Amo Bishop Roden was instant and absolute love). As of today, I have in my computer a semi complete discography of the band (except for Hooper Bay, it turned out to be fake) and I do believe it's one of the greatest band I've head. Although I tend to say that of every band I'm currently hearing.

And then I found this amazing forum. Yay!

I've been to Buenos Aires! Wish I could've seen other towns besides the capital but it was quite nice.

Yes, Boards of Canada is quite a fine band.

Thanks for the warm welcome. You're all invited to crash at my place for the low cost of some BoC memorabilia!

Sounds like a great experience Radiobuzz! I sometimes wish I discovered all at once as well, though it's better to hear each new release when it comes out it should be a marvelous experience to discover BoC right now. There are a lot of different releases which makes the rotation much longer.

Is it common for Argentinians to speak English this well?

Enjoy your stay!
(I splitted the topic because your hello message deserves a topic of its own, don't you think?)

Exactly, I'm currently getting into the old tunes.

Well, I guess not. In fact after I wrote the first post I got into the member's page to see if there was someone else from here and I bumped into this where some laughed at the poor guy, lol. Our main language is Spanish as you may know, but in this globalized world where North American culture is so tied into others it's easy to pick up the language, in fact I never actually studied it.

Thanks again for the welcome, and no, I don't mind having a thread of my own. In fact you could open a subforum dedicated only to myself Image.

Would be cool if we had a World map showing where everyone is. I know the text location is nice, but a Twoism map could be interesting.....

......or am I being a geek?

Probably, yeah.

It could be like a dot to dot. Maybe it'll make a pentagram or summat.

Here is the topic but it seem they've chosen to get rid of old email addresses as it doesn't recognize mine anymore. I created a new one, hold on!

Thanks 747, it's a little something I made fooling around with photoshop. You can see the full version here, although none of those is me :P.

And yeah, you can totally make a Twoism party here although the place's not too big. Summer is coming and it gets filled with turists over here so you should definitely come!
