Haha we had some laugh. I'm drinking coffee with my husband and I'm explaining to him what I'm reading here. And he replied: "Food, DVDs? Haha! Lucky them!"
My husband spends money on the real estate, he bought 3 houses for private use in the last 2 years, he bought a few small factories too, he likes to spend money on nice cars and he likes to take me to crazy destinations worldwide. He's rich inside but also outside as well... still, he tells me: "lucky little fellows, they buy food and DVDs as their main expenses in life, LUCKY THEM!" ... and then he gets cocky in his style and said: "Would you like that I buy you a DVD factory and to get Boards of Canada to play live for you and Gipsy Kings to play for me, simultaneously, in our restaurant in Rome?"
HAHAHA!
He says that you are LUCKY, makes you think, ha fellows?
He never buys me a CD or a rose or some fancy charming intimate thing. He buys me CARS instead. Oh well... nobody's perfect.
By the way, I love to spend my money on helping the children without parents and hungry children (I sponsor many kids), if you have some extra money please do check these links, even $20 helps and you will feel happy about spending your money good way check this out:

My husband is a bit bastardish and doesn't support it, he thinks they cheat. We argued much about it but my word must be the final one, and if he doesn't send at least $5000 to the people in need, monthly, I'm gonna divorce him.

Yell whatever you want my dear puddle pumpkin, it is just weak and mediocre.
And you better start feeding all these hungry children in Africa instead buying cheap food to make yourself like a fat pig commenting "I...I... wtf...omg and odd else. And I BET that you also buy DVDs, losing time in vain instead spending your money on your BENEFIT (ie. doing athletics, charity, martial arts and improving the art of lovemaking, spending time in libraries, university, buying flowers to selected few etc. Don't be lazy - start working on your own BENEFIT and stop being a selfish worm."

Omg, I sense something is really wrong with you.
You're all telling this to get guys attention? Hmm, thats too sad really.
Do you really think that I (we) believe that story?
And if it were true, why are you telling this? I think thats a interesting question for you to answer.
If your husband is so darned rich, let him pay for the poor African children. And start with telling him to spend his money on hungry children. That sounds more fair to me. Just let us poor blokes alone with this idealism. This is not what Twoism is about, IMO.
The real question is, why are you making this up, or telling us this? In that way I'm intrigued by you I guess. And your avator makes it a lot more interesting too, I would say

Haha, even I don't believe that story. But you must admit, it is hilarious.
Earthbound wrote:And if it were true, why are you telling this? I think thats a interesting question for you to answer.
Because you read it?
Earthbound wrote:If your husband is so darned rich, let him pay for the poor African children. And start with telling him to spend his money on hungry children. That sounds more fair to me. Just let us poor blokes alone with this idealism.
First, my husband is a rich asshole it is too stupid. And second, why don't you feed the african children instead buying these time-wasting DVDs, rich people are not supposed to feed hungry people.
Earthbound wrote:This is not what Twoism is about, IMO.
Ofcourse not. Twoism is about talking about Boards of Canada, bedroom music making, talking about new vsti etc or perhaps fancy conversations like this.
Earthbound wrote:The real question is, why are you making this up, or telling us this? In that way I'm intrigued by you I guess. And your avator makes it a lot more interesting too, I would say

Why this why that... Because I knew that you will be angry if I mention "rich husband who doesn't want to feed poor children in Africa. I knew it will make you mad and you will start spending your money on charity.

Aside from bills and typical stuff I spend extra on clothes (mostly shoes or shirts tbh), music and bike parts.

has anyone hear ever read ishmael by daniel quinn? there is a theory that feeding the starving population only leads to more increase in population and more starvation. the solution? dont feed the starving, let their numbers shrink back down to the appropriate size. it sounds brutal, but it could make sense. when there is a manageable amount of people, then there will be enough food to go around for them.
