Off topic but I just went to your lastfm page and I realized you were a member of the northeastern group...Small world because thats where I am right now as well...
I do a radio show at the school station with a friend of mine who also lurks these
boards...we play a lot of different stuff but we devote an hour usually to BOC...you should check it out on thursdays from 12-2am...the prime time slot! However, this Thursday there will be no show due to thanksgiving.
http://www.wrbbradio.org/ or 104.9 FM
and I suppose that goes for the rest of you here since it is just an internet stream it is accessible to the world!!

That's crazy... I signed up for the radio mailing list my first week on campus, I'm a freshman, that's insane how small a world it is. I'm a music industry minor so I actually am sort of interested in WRBB but am not sure where to start.

Yea it's a fairly easy process to get a show if that is what you are looking to do. It's obviously too late to get a show this semester but next semester or maybe even the last few weeks of this one you can just bust in the station and demand a to get your FCC clearance. The clearance is basically just a test of how well you can use the equipment and to make sure you don't have too much dead air floating around. After that you can submit a show request form and they should be able to find you a time slot. Since you are a freshman it will probably not be the best time slot but it will be a time slot non the less.
It probably helps if have some music related major, but I, for example, am a Computer Engineering major. I would get a music technology minor if they offered it but instead I've opted for the computer science minor to get some extra programming xp.
Anyways good luck in the pursuit of radio enlightenment!
