does anyone know what the clicking sample is in turquoise hexagon sun? it sounds like a record or something and in know i've heard the sample in many songs before. anyone know?

Clicking? I think you're talking about the pool ball sample.

yeah, doesnt sound like it because it's claerly on a turntable being played about with a bit. like a lot of stuff on mhtrtc actually.

but it is. it sounds like they recorded some sort of pool game actually because you can hear a bit of chatter as well.

Just the other night, I'd finished listening to "Loveless" on vinyl with my brother, which he'd just given to me for my birthday. Afterwards, we put on MHTRTC as a come-down (although the last track on Loveless does that nicely on its own). When Turquoise Hexagon Sun came on, he immediately asked me if I could hear people playing pool.

I don't have anything more concrete to add, but I think it's telling that most people seem to instinctively think of pool/billiards when they hear the sample.
