Flower (PS3)

Just gorgeous. It's an abstract game by the same guys that did flOw, also on the PS3. In this one you control the wind, gusting petals into trails of flowers. No scoring, incredibly simple but breathtakingly beautiful.
The music is part-generative. A bit ambient (which suits the game well) although I'd love to see this with something like "Slow This Bird Down". In fact it reminds me a lot of the landscape-based parts of the old interactive BoC website.

i wanted to get it a bit ago but wasn't sure if it would get old. looks cool, but does it get boring?

I would say if there were more levels you would get alittle bored.....but 6 levels is just right and it does relax you!! Go on treat yourself to some flowers!!

Well, both Cloud and flOw came out for PC, so I guess it will eventually land there. But you never know with Sony. Or consoles in general. I mean, is Braid out on PC already?

Just got this today and played a couple levels. Wow! What a beautiful game. Why the hell didn't I get this earlier?

Holy crap, this is beautiful. When I watch the gameplay, I get this overwhelming feeling of nostalgia and longing to be in those places they show. I would lay around in the grass, soak up the sunshine and breeze. But the sad part is that places simiular to those don't exist anymore.
*sigh* Why is the world so cold?
