I wouldn't surprised if MBV asked them. I'd be even less surprised if they gave a polite "No Thanks". Still, even the vaguest chance that I could see BOC live on my birthday gives makes me do a little wee of excitement...

I got the Warp newsletter the other day and it doesn't say anything about them being at Warp20--at least not in Paris. Though Aphex, Chris Cunningham and Plaid will be there... It's a shame I won't be, though.

Here's to hoping BoC does show up to one--and that somebody actually gets a decent recording of it.

Yeah, i saw the line up for Paris and it looked pretty good.

Here's hoping that they play at either the Sheffield or London gigs. To be honest, if they played on the moon i'd probably try and donate body parts just so i could go and see em. Not the eyes or ears obviously.

Even if they don't play, i think i'm gonna try and go to one of em.

I'm trying to decide if I'd seriously hop a plane across the Atlantic if they are confirmed to play one of these gigs.

I wonder, though; BoC has made no secret of their admiration of MBV, but has MBV ever acknowledged BoC in return?

Was thinking the same thing. Hope I'm wrong and we get to see BOC live at some point at least.

Hold on though - that announcement was only for Paris. There are the London and Sheffield events to come yet... Hope springs eternal.

I'd put my money on them playing Sheffield if they're gonna appear at any.

Well, I reckon I'll go to the Sheffield one regardless, but with it being the exact 20th birthday and in the "home town" and all that shit, I reckon that'll be the top sausage out of all the planned events.
