I have strep throat.
My gf will be several hours away all summer. I miss her.
I have no money.
LTOWCR only has 4 pre-orders and 2 stores that I was counting on won't stock it.
Music is just a disappointment lately. I get promised things, and they never transpire.
I don't really enjoy coming home to my parents in the summer. I like being on my own.
It's rained here for weeks. I'm starting to get kind of depressed.

There. The whine fest^ I know my life isn't that bad. There are kids starving in Africa. I was just super pissy last night. I'll be fine, this is just a rough week. Things can only improve from here...

May I invite all twoismers having a sh** time lately to come vent frustrations. This can be like a therapy group...via internet. As dumb as that sounds, I feel way better already.

What do you do during the day, gotta summer job? Try finding one, it'll at least get you out of the house that you already don't like being in. I'm sure your parents already told you that btw.

I find the best cure for depression is activity. For me that often equals cleaning my apartment like a madman or getting lost at work. I think work is good for the soul.

I've been having a pretty rough year, and coming home from college has really rubbed it in. I'm not surrounded by people constantly and it leaves me a little depressed. On the flip side, I have great friends I can rely on and they are supportive as best they can. I also know that happiness is what I make of it, so I fight along to stay positive and enjoy myself.

Everythings pretty cool with me.

I don't have time for to make music though. That's pretty disappointing.

I just lost my two best friends that I've known since age two.

Hopefully a ride through the green hills of Wisconsin listening to Skytree and Boreal Network can help out a bit.

Best cure for depression I have EVER experienced: outdoor physically exerting activity all the way! Biking, running, hiking, swimming, basketball, etc!!!! Get some sun!

And don't think I have forgotten about that remix! I will not let you down!

not sure if this helps at all phasen, but don't let the pre-order thing get you down, or discourage you from your music. i've had tons of setbacks with my material, and plenty of disappointments. i'm sure there will be more...that's part of the process. if you love making tunes, and it helps you deal with the other shitty things you mentioned, then that's what matters. don't let anyone else determine that for you.

personally, i believe that if you truly enjoy making music, and work hard at it, it will pay off. perhaps not in the overnight-sensation-esque way that we daydream about, but in its own way, in its own time.

just keep heart man!

I help teach at a summer camp/school in back home in Orlando. We go on field trips most days...and since I live in the tourism capital of the world, that means we go to sea world, universal, etc. Fun stuff.

And thanks Skytree- I go through bouts of time when I just get frustrated, but never do I consider giving up. I'd makes tunes even if I hid it from the world, just for the personal benefits. I shall press on!

onward!

^^ Agreed, the sun often brings out the best in people. I don't know exactly why, but I know when I look out of my window at the vibrant plants on a soft blue transient of a skyline I feel happy

Best wishes to all!
