A few sites (allmusic, artist direct) have 'Trans Canada Highway' listed as their new release as well as the release date 05/16/2006 and catalogue # Warp 009200 LP
I wonder if this info is correct. Trans Canada Highway???? I guess well just have to wait and see.

Yes, wait, wait, wait and pre-order as soon as possible. But, no, I will not download it on Soulseek, I won't even try, because new album = new collection of online fakes...
So it's gonna be a LP, not a EP (WA
RPxxxCD and not WAPxxxx)
So it's gonna be a EP (cat no.00920)

FAKE.
some dumbass was misinformed and decided to put this on a website (if not, that's the worse title they've come up with yet). Although "the campfire headphase" is my least favorite title of theirs, so we'll just have to wait & see.

i am kind of with you...the title seems very UN-boardish....but who knows...why wouldnt ANYTHING be on the warp site?

I too am with you...
something about the title just doesnt seem right. Although "the campfire headphase" caught me off guard so who knows. If this is the actual title and the correct information I would expect to see the music70 page to be updated soon as well as a warp records newsletter

I'm still skeptical as most other times I hear of a new Boards album. So many people just post bullshit info to fuck with people. And do you guys really think they would release another full album this quick? Still...Derails little heart just skipped a few beats.

where would these sites get there info? warp? and if so why hasn't warp posted ANYTHING. Plus I know some of you guys get warp news letters and there was nothing in that either...unless it monthly thing...if thats the case it maybe in one coming up in the months ahead...seeing is how it says it is a May 16th release...
trans canada highway? still just sounds made up...

This could be the real deal, actually. These are both 2 major distributors of music, right? Why would they post this if they did'nt want people to buy this and give them money? I think if we don't see any news on Bocs site or Warps site in the next few days we can assume this is bullshit.

I noticed someone on the BoC yahoo group point out the following...
The Campfire Headphase = TCH = Trans Canada Highway
Not sure what that could possibly imply though..

It always amaze me when other site seem to have new information while Warp still hasn't got anything up.

Seems a little wierd.
However, it would have been pretty wild of them to release two albums so close in time. Breaking the pattern and doing something unexpected...
And another thing, I'm not sure if this speaks for or againts this.. but the initials TCH again hmm? Someone's got a sense of humour

I was all excited then I read all the posts, are you guys just totally negative?? haha
It does seem a bit odd that its not on the Warp site, and the title does seem a little weird, but then again it could be real......fingers crossed

that's why i think it's the real deal; that's usually how people in dance music messageboards get their "inside info" on, when distro or record store sites post information before they're supposed to...

Are these two websites related in any way? If it was just on one I'd be extremely sceptical but it seems strange that they've both got the same title, unless one is just copying the other.
Don't forget that we first found out about Geogaddi from a similar listing on a Japanese music website before Warp announced it...
