I believe my copy of this song is mislabelled (in fact, I think all of my old tunes files are mislabelled) and it plays as an identical copy of Sir Prancelot Brainfire. Could anybody enlighten me on what David Came To The Mahana'Im actually sounds like? :?

it's a known issue, the tracks on side 1 of OTV2, as labeled in the original leak, are off by one starting at some point, I forget exactly where. Refer to the wiki for the correct times.

There are some people on YouTue who fight with me on which version is really DCTM and Iced Cooly Beatnik. Hexagon Sun was right. The internet is EVIL.

Hi,

I've just er, 'found' Vol's one and two of A few old tunes via the evil intenet and have a couple of questions.

The first i noticed is that Iraq Says is supposed to be 0.38 on BocPages. My version lasts 2.03 and has another bit of music at the end.

I'm trying to tie up which track is which cos the tracklistin i have is slightly wrong, and not numbered which makes it harder to list correctly.

I also noticed that on Vol 1, the 2nd track, 'Clear, light hair' is different as my version has the samples (..they'll decapitate you'..etc ) then carries on for another 30 or so seconds with some sort of 70's porn sample. :D

I'm pretty sure i've got genuine copies, but not so sure if the person who uploaded them didn't accidently edit them together wrong.

Any ideas ?

Cheers

Thanks for that Saakki. You're right !

I seem to also have two versions of Sir Prancelot Brainfire too.

Still, thanks anyway, i think i've lost North Sea Arbeit though unless it's mixed in with some other cut tracks.

Ah well, I've been looking for these tracks for years so now i've found em i can't complain. They're awesome !

I just heard Sir Prancelot Brainfire for the first time a few weeks ago. I totally tripped out when I recognized that voice sample. That song sparks some of the coolest 1970's retro nostalgia that BoC has ever had to offer.
