up until today i had only heard two songs by them...count them..1...2...

a guy i know at work just randomly walked up to me and said here listen to this...


i dont know what album it is or if it is a mix, but i do know from what i have listened to so far it sounds like BoC with vocals...anyone else have an opinion about these guys?


i will continue listening and see if anyone has posted anything...

ok so not all their tracks have vocals...now it is just starting sound like older BoC..
or maybe its the warbly out of tune sound they have going on that is sounding like BoC..because their music doesnt have the depth that BoC does...and it lacks alot more...still listening though...about on the 4th track

yeah...some of their stuff i am really diggin' a whole lot...and its mostly the songs with out the vocals...they have a great sound...if you like BoC i dont see how you couldn't like what these guys are doing...

Other than the fact that they use similar keyboard sounds for certain things, i think that you'd be selling bmsr short saying they sound like BOC. i think they are doing their own thing. Some songs sound alot more like American Analog Set and even Mogwai at times. Really like their stuff though. I'm awaiting a few of their releases I ordered.

youre very right on steve-o...when i posted that i had listened to about 5 songs...the cd i was given has 28 tracks...but i listened to it all last night...and they differ greatly from boards...similiar, yet they have created their own sound....i really like them...

its really really good shit...i am liking it more every time i listen to it...

recently downloaded lost picking flowers and now am just waiting for my preorder to come in. so far, i'm thinking it's alot more kraut rock or even late 60's influenced than the old stuff.
what i've heard of the old stuff does sound boc influenced though.

this is a band i'd love to see live. they do play out a bit, however even though we live in the same state they are on the other side of it so they don't play Philly much. yeah i'm awaiting that preorder as well. i didn't even check to see the release date.

i wish somebody would remix this! gonna see if the local HMV has anything by them in it. and no, there is no indie records shops where i live !

I don't think they sound like BoC with vocals at all, it's not bad but that's all it is sorry...

I don't think they sound like BoC with vocals at all, it's not bad but that's all it is sorry...

as i said before i had only listened to just a little of them...now that i have heard more i agree with you...i like it though

Got my order today. I ordered Start A People (which i'm listening to now and it's great) and Lost Picking Flowers and they sent me 2 other cds. Killer!
