There's also a local band/singer called Son Capson (Bleak plays with him!) and they're amazing as a band live, and my favourite song has to be the one they start their shows which i forgot, (I think it's Seagull Pecks The Fool...)

Those are from the top of my head :)

Cusco... no favorite here. honestly too hard. Pegasus or Canada-Last Paradise or Milky Way or something. I have no idea.

BoC - Olson

Smashing Pumpkins - Muzzle or Jellybelly or Here Is No Why or Bullet With... you know what, this is too hard, too.

Beck - Loser (while it's not my most listened-to song of his, it's one of the first songs I ever felt like I connected with the lyrics and feel and sound of all at once)

Mort Garson - Easy To Be Hard (holy shit, seriously, one of my favorite pieces of music of all time)

I just recently became obsessed with Tortoise. TNT, Standards, and Beacons of Ancestorship are being played to death these days. I like how it's very unpredictable music, but they're not afraid to be melodic and enjoyable. They don't sacrifice enjoyment for that "experimental" tag, which is pretty refreshing.
