Hey all.

I'm a new member/poster but have been a loooooong time unregistered lurker who never felt the need to register because I could get all my questions answered here by reading through this very educated and informed forum.

Many of you are amazing with the depth of knowledge you share with others here. It's a reminder of my days as a youth trying to find out every detail and historical "fact" of bands I loved as a pre-teen/teenager back in the late '70's and early eighties. Unfortunately with no internet, we had to rely on a few dedicated music mags/live shows and eventually the early days of MTV when they actually played music and even better, aired new and exciting bands rather than just covering the Billboard Top 100. Yes, I'm in my 40's. :)

Anyway, the point of my post is that I bought an .mp3 CD from an eBay seller by the name of "citycentreoffices" a few years ago and it has, from what I can tell, nearly everything in their early catalog (pre their first official relsease) plus some one-off rarities (Mask 500, XYZ, etc....).

The problem is that the songs aren't labeled (tagged) so it's hard to figure out what is what on there. The one thing I am certain of is that BOC Maxima is mixed as one long track. Is that correct?

Aside from that, it's tough to match up with the discography found via this website (Fredd-e's pages I believe.)

Has anyone else bought this and if so, any luck at correctly identifying the tracks? If I remember correctly, I think the eBay seller was actually someone from a record label in the U.K. because of an unrelated purchase I made directly from the label later on down the road which came with something like the same mailing address or something like that.

Sorry for the lengthy first post and thanks in advance for any assistance.

Welcome to the board!

Did you try to compare some track lengths?

You can always send some.

er, what? City Centre Offices is a record label from Germany. Arovane, Christian Kleine, Ulrich Schnauss are on them.

It could be done if you posted a list of all the files on the CD and the track lengths of those files, I imagine using Fredd-E's bocpages it would be simple enough

Moebius...I stand corrected...thanks for the info. I knew it was a label but couldn't remember exactly.

Strange that they were the ones selling the CD though, huh?

Techboy...I've tried matching up the times with the info on Fredd-e's BOC pages but so many were off by as little as 1 second to as much as 3 or 4 that it made things difficult. I hate to eat up a thread with listing all of the individual files.

Perhaps I can type them into a Word or .pdf document and then email to anyone who is willing to assist.

You should use Google Wave for things like that or at least make a public editable google docs spreadsheet so people can collaborate online in an easy manner.

I would really say just to go ahead and post it here if you can't be bothered with google docs..
