WOW!
Everyone should check this duo out:
http://www.discogs.com/artist/Black+Moth+Super+Rainbow
They've only got 2 cd's but those cd's are really lush and clearly BoC influenced but still distinctive enough to stand on their own.
HIGHLY recommended!!!!
PS: I've heard they'll release a new album too; June 5th: BLACK MOTH SUPER RAINBOW - WE LIVE IN THE MEADOW
I'm excited!

I just listened to some samples on their website, trippy shit. As soon as I get some loot I will be ordering both albums. I really like the spoken word/vocals on ''I think it's beautiful that you are 256 colors too". Apparently their from Pittsburgh, my home town, and do some gigs from time to time, but I never heard anyone around here talk about them.

i just found out about these guys, at first glance/listen it's like they're to the late 1960s what BoC is to the late 1970's, really great psychedelic stuff

I believe they plan on rereleasing that. I can't remember if it's on the myspace page in the blog or on their website, but I think they are asking opinions on it. Like if people want it enough they will rerelease it.

I've had BMSR sitting around my hard drive for a few months now and I finally 'got it' tonight. Brilliant stuff.
It's like a plastic, bubblegum pink BoC.

What exactly do they have to do with Boards of Canada besides a pastoral mindset and analog synths?
