I recently got Soulseek...so of course, the first thing I searched for was Boc. I downloaded Old Tunes Volume 1, I believe, and have now listened through most of it. But after looking around on the internet and checking out Boc on wikipedia... I realized that Old Tunes could just as easily be a Boards imitator as much as something actually by them... I couldn't find anywhere that actually linked the two.

How do we know..?

Well, I downloaded Play by Numbers from a member of the Hexagon Sun Collective who told me that Trans-Canada is a hoax that's actually been put together by Billy Joel and that NOTHING in their catalogue was made by them except for the Aquarius 7", which was actually a bootleg release that was supposed to have come out on that weird Red Moon date but then Mike and Marcus got real depressed and started worshiping Lucifer and now they're in jail so i really don't even know why we have this forum, imo.

dis, You're crazy... after I got my Old Tunes Tape signed by Mike and Marcus while they were promo-ing TCH at Walmart, they asked where I had got it, and I lied and said eBay, but we all know anyone can get it at Amazon. They did say it was legit, but that it was really, really old (they did it when they were 3 and 4 months old). So I say enjoy you're 100% legit copy, unless its a fake, that is.

agreed. volume 2 is the best out of all of them. buckie high is one of their greatest IMO. first time I heard it I was like .

I have to say vol. 2 is the worst, but that's just my opinion. It's all about vol. 1.

yeah vol. 1 is pretty good i'll admit, i like them all actually, let's just leave it at that . both audiotrack 1's from side a and b are fucking amazing, i love them , as well as track 4 from side a. that 4/4 clap, it's just so awesome.

I dug Old Tunes 1 more than 2... but that's probably because I hadn't heard till I had played A Few Old Tunes and Old Tunes 2 for over a year. Actually track 6 from Old Tunes 1 is what really won me over. Talk about a mysterious sounding track.

yeah audiotrack 06 is my fav on old tunes 1... reminds me of.. stuff.. which is good

yeah i like audiotrack 10 on that. such nice use of guitar. so simple but very deep.

anybody able to put up a link for old tunes 1 and 2. I tried to do soulseek about a year ago and got totally stumped cause i'm f***ing thick

Side B is where the real gold is, though. Every song on there is utterly gorgeous.

By the way, just throwing this out there.. but am i the only one who absolutely LOVES hiscores on Old Tunes Vol. 2? Seriously, i could loop that song for hours on end. When those voices come in with the melody, ahhhh my god. It just really gets me thinking how much other great work they could have out there that no one has any idea about. I mean, we could have never even had these great works, and imagine what we would have missed.
