I'm really enjoying his album Caesura. It's not really like BoC at all. Well maybe a wee bit. More like Explosions in the Sky.

Helios/Keith Kennif is definately a genius.

I really love Helios, it's 1 of my most favourite artists, must say I haven't checked his Goldmund project thoroughly yet, but Helios is amazing. Checking his Mint Julep project now, and that's really different, but really good as well. I mean, listen to this song;

Amazing. Everything this guy does is gold.

His warblings on the piano I can do without (Goldmund). Anyone with time on their hands can sit down and bang keys and record it.

Other than that, "Eiynga" was one of my favorite downtempo albums. Great music for introspection.

And out of all of his releases, "Unomia" is the most BoCish.

Ouch that sounds rather unneedingly harsh? Do you really think anyone is able to bang some keys and record a beautiful piece like for instance alberta?

I was in somewhat of a troll mood that day I think, heh.

I actually have listened to Goldmund and enjoyed it in the past.

Not convinced it's all that BoCish myself, but it is a truely wonderful piece of work. Achingly beautiful.
